Listen to your inner wisdom.
Hi beautiful!
I have a question for you.
Whose voice is in your head?
The voice that questions your every decision. That tells you this isn’t for you. That says you don’t need that. The voice that makes you second-guess yourself or feel guilty. The one that asks “who are you to do this?”
Here’s the truth: THIS IS NOT YOUR VOICE.
It may sound like your voice which is the confusing part, but if you really think about it and ask yourself, “whose voice is this?”… you’ll realize it’s not yours at all.
As you ask yourself this question you may know whose voice (or voices) it is. But it’s actually not even important to know whose voice it is. What’s important is to understand and accept that it’s not yours.
So which voice is yours?
How can you tune into your authentic voice??
Ah, that’s the part that can be a bit tricky because the not-you voice is so loud. It drowns out the quiet whisper of your intuition, pushes away the nudges from Spirit/Universe, and creates chaos through fear/doubt/anxiety. These are clues that you can learn to become aware of.
It’s also very powerful to keep asking yourself the questions:
“Whose voice is this?”
“Is it mine?”
“Do I believe what the voice is telling me?”
The only way to learn what your true authentic voice sounds like and FEELS like in your body, is to experiment, test it out, and eventually become aware of it.
This requires that you spend time listening and feeling. In stillness. In a quiet place. With no distractions. By yourself. On a very regular basis.
Even if you already are aware of your true voice, creating time in your week for a check-in is vital and should be a non-negotiable. This is part of what Lyndsie and I call “CEO time” — dedicated time for you to think, plan, and tune into your inner wisdom.
My invitation to you this week is to take 20 minutes to simply sit with yourself and listen. Become aware of what and who you’re hearing. Go deeper and become aware of what your intuition (your true voice) is telling you.
You are so worth it!
Love, Vera 💛
P.S. Leaning into your authenticity is how you become magnetic to your ideal clients. If you’re not quite sure what your authentic self feels like, let’s chat about what support around this could look like.
